Product Photography Case Study: Behind the Lens with Efori

When I first connected with Efori, I was immediately drawn in by their mission: to create small batch fragrances that honor who you are right now — layered, evolving, and full of depth. Their scents are intentionally designed to support the nervous system and help you move through your day with softness, peace, and presence. And I knew right away… their product photos needed to feel just as layered and intentional.

This wasn’t just a shoot for pretty perfume bottles. It was about capturing a feeling.

The Vision

Efori came to me during a rebrand. Their founder had invested in product photography before — including AI-generated backdrops and a previous professional shoot — but something was missing. The product images didn’t reflect the depth, moodiness, and creative edge the brand embodies. She wanted customers to not only see the product, but to feel it — to visualize how it would make them smell, feel, and carry themselves.

That’s where I came in.

The Work

Over the course of six months, I created a full gallery of elevated content for Efori’s website listings and social media presence. The focus was clean, intentional visuals with mood, texture, and atmosphere — the kind of product photography images that would stop the scroll and whisper: this is different.

We played with shadows, light, minimal color palettes, and thoughtful styling that echoed the brand’s core: soft, grounded, and powerful. From flatlays that told a layered story to close-ups that felt like a breath of fresh air, every photo was created with Efori’s evolving identity in mind.

And honestly? It showed.

The Results

In the founder’s words:

“I’ve noticed a huge increase in wholesale orders — from zero for the last year and a half, to five in the last 30 days. Big retailers are checking out my RANGEME profile and setting up intro calls. I’ve seen more consistent sales, more shares on social, and more customers falling in love with the brand at first glance.”

This is the power of aligned, intentional imagery.

But my favorite part?

“Every single month felt like Christmas… and somehow, each gallery topped the last.”

The Takeaway

Whether you’re launching, rebranding, or refining, your product photography images should tell the same story your products do. They should reflect the heart behind your brand and help your audience feel it — before they even click “Add to Cart.”

Working with Efori was an absolute dream, and I’m honored to have played a role in helping this brand step into its next chapter — layered, radiant, and ready to take up space.
